TT Electronics opened its first production unit in Timisoara in 2012. Being a strategic investment for the TT Electronics corporation, we benefitted of further investments and currently have two plants in Timisoara, Transportation Sensing and Control ( TSC) and Integrated Manufacturing Services (IMS).

 

TSC produces a wide range of electronic components for the automotive industry, such as acceleration pedals, sensors (fluid temperature, level and pressure etc.), LED technology modules and electronic actuators.

 

In our IMS plant, we manufacture circuit boards for different market segments, modules with LED lighting and signaling and sensory devices.

 

TT Electronics Timisoara is ISO TS 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, OHSAS 18001 certified and we employ over 500 employees.

 

Role Overview/Responsibilities

This role is responsible for Quality Process & Product, Management System and Quality Test Lab throughout the company. The job holder will functionally report the Local site leader.

 

The job holder is responsible Quality Process & Product, Quality System and Quality Test Lab at the location.

 
The job holder is responsible for the monitoring and continuous improvement of the product quality and their process.

 
Definition of the annual objectives of the department, continuous reviewing of the objectives in regard to achievement, determination of measures in order to achieve objectives, regular preparation of status report, continuous reporting system.

 
Functional and disciplinary leadership of the members of the department; investigation of necessary training requirements in line with the skill requirements and according to the demands of each job descriptions.

 
Presentation, appraisal and provision of quality key figures towards the Site Leader.

 
Development of process operations and standards and guarantee the implementation, compliance of standards and achievement of the process objectives.

 
Regular verbal and written communication with national and international customers in English language, customer service during in-house customer visits and external customer visits.  
 

Responsible to maintain and upgrade the implemented Management Systems e.g. IATF 16949, EN 14001;

 
Take care of the yearly requalification program.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in an electronics or mechanical engineering discipline

 
Proven ability demonstrated running quality department within a mid-size organization, managing a team within an automotive industry with skilled and unskilled employees. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quality Manager in an automotive organization.

 
Strong organisational, multi–tasking and time-management skills

 
Experience of communicating with external & internal customers

 
Fluent in English, both written and spoken is essential

 
Proven team leadership skills and ability to influence others at all levels within the business

 
Demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, influencing and decision-making skills

 
Experience of preparing and managing a budget

 
First-hand experience of working with SAP

 
Excellent communications skills

 
Must be enthusiastic and can demonstrate excellent people management and social skills

 
Significant travel within Europe will be expected

 
Ability to meet travel requirements globally
 

Preferably qualified  as a Black Belt.
