Located in Suzhou, a beautiful city by the Yangtze River, TT Electronics China hosts two business units: The Integrated Manufacturing Services (IMS) business enjoys a high reputation as low volume/high mix manufacturer of products ranged from box-build, PCBA and cable assembling. The Transportation Sensing & Control (TS&C) business provides sensors and control solutions for passenger cars and trucks. We strongly focus on emissions reduction, safety and driver assistance features.

Role Overview/Responsibilities

The Assistant Quality Manager plans, co-ordinates and directs the programmes designed to ensure continuous compliance of products to Customer expectations consistent with established standards and through effective and efficient utilisation of resources.


Position Main Responsibilities:


  • Drives activities that engender a culture of quality throughout the organisation
  • Manages the process quality group to achieve set business objectives
  • Manages PPAP requirements and Run at rate for Production release
  • Develops excellent relationships with all Customers
  • Sets standards and controls inspection requirements for products throughout the production cycle.
  • Applies the quality tools to analytical problem solving in the workplace.
  • Supports APQP activity with the Development groups to ensure new products are designed for manufacture.
  • Coordinates Customer complaint and Internal yield analysis improvement programmes.
  • Coordinates the Process and Internal systems auditing cross functional Team activity.
  • Organize all the members to identify the dangerous fountainhead. Ensure all the employees work in a safety and health environment, decrease the industrial injury.


Degree Educated (or equivalent) in Electronics , Engineering or related pure science

  • 8 years experience in a high volume , automotive electronics manufacturing environment
  • 5 years minimum experience of leading a Quality organisation.
  • Will be bi-lingual to include English
  • Will be accustomed to customer interaction
  • Will be experienced with the Quality tools, six sigma and Lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Must be able to coach, guide and drive effective analytical problem solving in the workplace.
  • Must possess sound judgement in the setting of and compliance to standards.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all functions and manage complex multitask activities.
  • Must have experience of incremental Continuous Improvement methods and workplace organisation principles.
  • Will have driven third party compliance to a recognised quality system standard
