TT Electronics opened its first production unit in Timisoara in 2012. Being a strategic investment for the TT Electronics corporation, we benefitted of further investments and currently have two plants in Timisoara, Transportation Sensing and Control ( TSC) and Integrated Manufacturing Services (IMS).
TSC produces a wide range of electronic components for the automotive industry, such as acceleration pedals, sensors (fluid temperature, level and pressure etc.), LED technology modules and electronic actuators.
In our IMS plant, we manufacture circuit boards for different market segments, modules with LED lighting and signaling and sensory devices.
TT Electronics Timisoara is ISO TS 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, OHSAS 18001 certified and we employ over 500 employees.
Liaise with customer design teams to promote viable & maximised test specifications.
DFx involvement to support existing and new business opportunities.
Implementation of new test solutions that meet both customer & TT requirements by project managing external suppliers
Selection of suitable external suppliers to meet test solution requirements.
Quotations for test solutions for new and existing business opportunities.
Ensuring tests are released to production ful.y proven with full documentation packs.
Responsible for the success of test solutions from conceptualization through to retirement.
Line support to ensure maximum availability of test solutions to achieve production requirements.
Analysis of manufacturing test yields.
Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements and company codes of conduct.
To liaise with other Engineering disciplines on the timely introduction of new products.
To identify & drive continuous improvements within the areas of their control.
Advise on new developments in test and test strategies.
Yield tracking and improvements. Interfaces with other engineering functions especially, Process and
Quality dept. and possibly customers, to resolve test yield and test time issues.
Makes recommendations to improve processes for testability.
Participate to component failure analysis.
Test set up and maintenance hardware and software.
TI (Test Process Instruction).
Test operator and technician training.
Design for testability coordination.
Provide test capacity plan.
Test and NRE quotes.
Attend Customer Focus Team meetings
Technical support to production and CFT
Support other test divisions
Incorporate electrical safety measures in test area
Process audit in test area
Provide customer updates to team on regular basis
University Degree in technical field (Electronics, Telecommunication, Automation);
Fluent English communication (Written, Spoken, Reading).
Minimum 3 years working experience in Test Engineering.
Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
Software Development knowledge (Labview, Visual Basic, etc).
Understanding of analogue, digital and RF test techniques.
Strong technical knowledge and able to work with all levels of staff.
Past experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
IT skills including Office, Cad viewers etc.
Good communication skills including liaising with customers.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Independent and resourceful.
