New Chapel Electronics Ltd, as part of TT Electronics, is a provider of back-shells, electrical harnessing systems and wiring solutions to the Defence and Aerospace Markets. We were established in 1978 in Fairford, Gloucestershire and today our team is almost 70 members strong.

Role Overview/Responsibilities

To assist and manufacture components and assemblies in accordance with the requirements of customer orders/drawings and NCE standards and systems with supervision to the best overall value to the Company.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Be able to obtain Line Traveller from Supervisor and build items applicable to his/her ability with supervision;
  • Be capable of checking drawings and items listed against Line Traveller for correctness with supervision;
  • With instruction, be capable of keeping all associated paperwork up to date;
  • Be aware of the location and how to use Work Instruction Sheets;
  • Be able to record accurate data collection on the Vantage computer system;
  • Be responsible for a tidy working area, bench and floor space; and
  • Be able to perform other duties as and when required within NCE.

 

The list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be an exhaustive list of tasks performed.  Other associated tasks are likely to be performed as directed by the relevant Manager.

 

A period of 6 months training will be given.

  • Willing to undertake specific training to support the duties and responsibilities detailed above;
  • Self motivating with a flexible work ethic;
  • Punctuality; and
  • Be able to work within a team.
