This role is based at our Barnstaple location, part of the Power Electronics division, where we employ approximately 250 employees and specialise in the manufacture of wound components, printed-circuit board assemblies, cabinet wiring and electronic test equipment for the civil aircraft, space, and defence industries.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Audit product in accordance with defined build instructions and IPC-A-610 standards

Ensure all deviations from either defined build instruction or IPC-A-610 standards are clearly identified and logged in line with standard operating procedures

Ensure defined processes are robust, clear & concise and can consistently achieve the required standards

Ensure all processes are stringently adhered to, any gaps or process improvements should be highlighted to your immediate supervision. They will ensure that effective remedial actions are taken in a timely manner including updating supporting documentation in QMS

Compliance with the company Quality Standard and procedures

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Certification to IPC-A-610

Component Knowledge & Identification (Leaded Components)

ESD Awareness

Understanding & use of QMS system

Ideally have Experience with Epicor Business Systems applicable to production
