TT Electronics Bedlington incorporates two divisions; Passive Components and Power Electronics. Passive components are leaders in high reliability, high performance and engineered electronic components. Power Electronics provide custom solutions for safety critical harsh environment applications, at Bedlington specialising in microcircuit production for the civil aircraft, space, and defence industries.
Audit systems and processes for compliance and effectiveness to the applicable standard e.g. AS9100, ISO9001, 14001.
Ensure that all processes required for the Quality Management System are established, implemented and continually improved.
To manage the internal audit schedule and team to focus on performance against KPI’s, compliance to documented procedures and where non-compliances are identified, report and implement effective corrective actions.
In the absence of the Quality Manager assume responsibility for the management of the Quality department, reporting to the General Manager/Senior Director.
Participating in Management Reviews to ensure the continuing suitability and effectiveness of the Quality Management System and to assess any improvement opportunities for the Quality Management System.
To implement a best in class documentation system for engineering and manufacturing which ensures both compliance to procedures and error proofing for users.
To introduce an appropriate electronic solution to improve documentation control, reporting of corrective actions and results/ status of the internal audit schedule.
Promote Continuous Improvement and problem solving solutions through the use of Quality Improvement tools, trend analysis and techniques such as SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D and Mistake Proofing.
To manage the process for Records Control in line with the company procedure.
To participate, when required, in the qualification and introduction of new products into production.
Identify and introduce any new quality concepts into the business that will be beneficial. This will allow the business to stay competitive in certain markets.
Off-site visits. On occasion visits to customers, suppliers or training venues may be necessary and may involve foreign travel.
To manage the hybrid QA Product release process to ensure customer compliance to all relevant specifications.
Degree educated (preferably electrical/electronic engineering) or equivalent experience. Certificated Auditor to AS9100, TS16949 or ISO9001:2008.
