Role Overview and Responsibilities

Main function of role: As part of the Customer Service Team you will liaising with internal and external customers to ensure we provide excellent customer service at all times.


  • Order entry
  • Keeping customers updated on the progress of their orders
  • Filing and general administration
  • Reception duties
  • Sorting incoming/ arranging outgoing post
  • Logging of complaints/ returns
  • Responding to any queries in a timely manner/ passing technical queries on to the relevant person within the business
  • Working closely with accounts departments to resolve payment queries and set up new accounts
  • Taking card payments over the phone and issuing invoices
  • Liaising with all internal departments to ensure that actions/projects raised are communicated correctly and dealt with in a timely manner
  • Create export documentation
  • Updating the CRM and MRP systems

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
  • GCSE Maths & English Grade C and above (or equivalent).
  • Candidates must be able to prove they have the right to work in the UK by start date.
