    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    The position will be responsible for providing technical support to the Business Development team, channel partners and external customers, contributing to business growth and margin targets.  Actively participate in design-in activity with emphasis on the technical solution nature and image of TT Power Electronics division to further reinforce its specialist product market position in Aerospace, Military and Space markets.


    • Interact with customers and the Power Electronics regional Business Development team (including channel partners) to understand new business opportunities and technology solution required.
    • Ensure NBO’s are prioritized and progressed in a timely manner.
    • Proactively participate in the management of new business opportunities in the CRM.  This includes status updates, follow-up of action items, and initiation of sample requests.
    • Systematic and regular progress reviews with the regional Business Development Director.
    • Work efficiently with the Business Development and NPI Engineering teams to determine the technical and business feasibility of projects.
    • Provide proactive technical assistance on customer designs by coordinating and supporting Power Electronics regional Business Development team in technical product presentations and demonstrations during customer visits.
    • Fully understand the technical needs of our customers through customer visits, literature study, and involvement in technical standards associations.
    • Maintain technical understanding of competitive products.
    • Document and communicate with internal engineering groups the customer’s requirements and ensure that these opportunities are tracked and progress with customer’s expectations from the quoting stage through qualification and design approval.
    • Provide technical training on the product capabilities to Power Electronics regional business development team and channel partners. This includes the writing and publishing of technical articles and application notes.
    • Attend and staff trade shows and seminars to proactively and professionally promote Power Electronics capabilities.
    • Assist with the development of marketing materials and technical promotions necessary to support the growth of business within region.
    • Adhere and support company quality, safety & health policies.

    Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

    Electronics Engineering - prefferably degree qualified


    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aerospace and/or Military and Space markets with a focus on applications engineering or technical sales.
    • Technical knowledge of electronic components and/or electromagnetic applications.
    • Proven track record of delivering sales growth and strong customer relationship building.
    • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
    • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills.
    • Ability to interact at all levels within the business.
    • Must be enthusiastic and a self-starter.
