TT Electronics Bedlington incorporates two divisions; Passive Components and Power Electronics. Passive components are leaders in high reliability, high performance and engineered electronic components. Power Electronics provide custom solutions for safety critical harsh environment applications, at Bedlington specialising in microcircuit production for the civil aircraft, space, and defence industries.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Our business is customer led and we pride ourselves on technical capabilities to deliver customer needs. In this role you will demonstrate Operational excellence regards Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost with team engagement as centre stage. 

 

Further duties will include;

  • Striving for zero harm by developing and embedding a health and safety culture
  • Creating high levels of engagement through strong communications and development of people
  • Achieving superior levels of customer service enabled by lean and continuous improvement activities
  • Ensuring the team are equipped to deliver the manufacturing commitments regards output
  • Effective planning of processes and people including skills training
  • Supporting and driving signature processes including S&OP, Performance Management and Process Introduction and Optimisation
  • Delivering key financial and performance data to the Senior management team to support timely decision making
  • Review variance performance and play an active role in the team to develop and implement plans to improve the same

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

The successful candidate will have a relevant technical qualification and demonstrate the leadership qualities fitting with our strategic priorities particularly around culture which is to build an environment of trust and respect whilst also delivering our customer needs and commitments and building both our people and process capabilities.
