Role Overview and Responsibilities

Our business is customer led and we pride ourselves on technical capabilities to deliver customer needs. We’re recruiting an IT Support Engineer within Power and Hybrid based in Lutterworth, to deliver an effective internal IT service to the team. The purpose of the role will be to provide day to day technical support requirements at our Lutterworth site, including monitoring of all site LANDESK service requests.


Areas of focus will include:


  • Be the first point of contact for Lutterworth IT issues.
  • Support on site local systems including, but not restricted to, email, servers, storage, telecoms and networking.
  • Monitor and support company phone systems and time clock systems.
  • Providing direct technical assistance and training to computer users on the application software, hardware and computer services.
  • Responsible for IT hardware and software inventory and asset registration

The successful candidate will have strong demonstrable systematic and methodical working practises and an eye for detail with ability to work to deadlines. You will operate with the utmost integrity, having a high level of customer focus in getting the job done well.


Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

You will possess the following knowledge and experience:

  • Knowledge of ITIL Service Management and process execution would be beneficial.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems
  • Experience of working in a multinational manufacturing company would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of VOIP PBX systems
  • At least 3 years’ experience in IT support and direct problem resolution roles
