Roxspur Measurement & Control Ltd (RM&C), based in Sheffield, became part of TT Electronics in July 2014. Our products include sensors, thermocouples, thermometers, transducers, transmitters, flowmeters and controllers. Our modern cell based manufacturing facilities are fully flexible for small and large batch runs, enabling us to provide short lead times even for customized products The in-house manufacturing and testing is backed up by our own UKAS accredited laboratory for pressure, temperature, flow and electrical parameters. A team of field-based engineers also provide a full calibration, maintenance and repair service throughout Europe.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The company is looking to recruit a Planning Administrator, reporting to the Customer Service Manager. This is a general administrative support role which works closely with both, the Planning Team and the Customer Service Team. You will also be working closely with the Operations and Purchasing teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Use the Sage 1000 ERP system
  • Raise manufacturing orders
  • Run works order shortages
  • Update sales orders
  • Use spreadsheets to analyse planning/forecast data
  • Collate and communicate planning information
  • Document and send out factory capacity spreadsheets
  • General adminstration duties
  • Support the Planning and Customer Service Team where required

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

The ideal candidate is experienced in general office or production administration. 

 

In that respect, you possess: 

  • Ideally, some experience in an office environment as administrator/planner;
  • Computer literacy. Required: MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook and ability to use online platforms. Desired: Sage system experience;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to deal with a variety of stakeholders in different departments;
  • Good attention to detail;
  • Teamplayer with good communication skills.

Hours and Compensation

39 hours per week. £16 to £18K annual rate, dependent on experience and qualifications.
