New Chapel Electronics Ltd, as part of TT Electronics, is a provider of back-shells, electrical harnessing systems and wiring solutions to the Defence and Aerospace Markets. We were established in 1978 in Fairford, Gloucestershire and today our team is almost 70 members strong.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Introduction

To generate and control documentation associated with orders classed as value added (ie Electrical Harness Production) and to support and assist the Contract Engineers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce Works Traveller as directed by Contract Review Engineer;
  • Implement any amendments to Works Traveller when advised by Contract Review;
  • Book in and maintain records of all customer drawings;
  • Produce Preventative Action History Sheet template for all new drawings;
  • Maintain records of all re-used New Chapel drawings;
  • Produce kitting sheets for Customer and New Chapel drawings as required;
  • Generate invoice and C of C for all goods being despatched and ensure that all goods are despatched in accordance with order delivery dates;
  • Where required, email invoices to customer or pass to Reception for posting;
  • Complete Export Register with relevant details when processing any exports being despatched;
  • Maintain and file Traveller documents when completed;
  • File all Works Orders when received from Contract Review;
  • Archive all Works Travellers together with order paperwork maintaining up to date Register;
  • File completed Quotes and maintain records destroying and recording completed Quotes;
  • Assisting Sales Desk when required;
  • Maintain and amend various spreadsheets as requested in order to supply information to Management including but not exclusively, Works Order List, Monthly Sales Figures and Export Register;
  • Carry out additional duties as and when instructed by a Director or Contract Review Engineer; and
  • Job closing.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Core Requirements

  • The ability to liaise and communicate with personnel of all levels within the Company;
  • Computer literate;
  • Accurate, numerate and a keen attention to detail are essential; and
  • Confident, self-motivated and also able to work as part of a team.
