    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    Materials Compliance Coordinator (Quality)

    As part of our commitment to our Sensors & Specialist Component customers and recognised Quality Standards, we have an exciting opportunity for a temporary Materials Compliance Coordinator to join a talented Electronic Manufacturing Quality team.

    The job is responsible for the generation and maintenance of the product compliance breakdowns and chemical usage within our processes, reviewing against the Reach directive and complete customer requests.


    Majority of this role will be spent in Bedlington, although on occasion there may be a requirement to visit customers, suppliers or training venues and may involve national or international travel.


    Main Responsibilities

    1. To generate and maintain the product compliance breakdowns and chemical usage within the Processes against the Reach directive and complete customer requests. Generate the required declarations for Reach, RoHs and Conflict Minerals.
    2. Collate and organise data for raw materials, intermediates and products and support the generation of data for Global Regulatory Compliance obligations under Regulatory schemes such as REACH
    3. Generate declarations for customers and regulatory compliance requirements
    4. Complete upload of material breakdown on to a formal on line system i.e. BOM check
    5. Support the administration of safety data sheets and material data sheets and keep accurate records of testing reports
    6. Understand new project requirements for material declaration compliance
    7. To participate in improvement opportunities and undertake other duties as determined by the management team


    Qualifications, Skills and Attributes


    • Electrical/electronic engineering or maybe some experience in Manufacturing Quality Engineering and environmental testing.
    • Possible experience in understanding Reach, RoHs and conflict minerals requirements. Declaration and material breakdown formats. Conversant with reporting systems (ie BOM check)
