This role is based at our Barnstaple location, part of the Power Electronics division, where we employ approximately 250 employees and specialise in the manufacture of wound components, printed-circuit board assemblies, cabinet wiring and electronic test equipment for the civil aircraft, space, and defence industries.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Aero Stanrew specialises in the manufacture of wound components, printed-circuit board assemblies, cabinet wiring and electronic test equipment for the civil aircraft, space, and defence industries.

The successful applicant will have 1-2 years' experience as a management accountant and will assist the Financial Controller in achieving all reporting functions whilst maintaining internal controls to meet our business objectives and ensuring we get the job done well.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the management accounts are produced and submitted to agreed timescales
  • Analysis of monthly results and investigation of variances
  • Reconciliation of agreed balance sheet accounts
  • Responsibility for margin analysis
  • Maintaining good working relationships with the operational management team and liaising regularly with them as required
  • Reconcile stock & WIP listings

Desireable Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will be looking for a role which offers career development and will already have or be working towards a formal accountancy qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA).
