Our facility in Bedlington (north of Newcastle upon Tyne) incorporates two divisions; Sensors & Specialist Components and Power Electronics. Sensors & Specialist Components are leaders in high reliability, high performance and engineered electronic components. Power Electronics provide custom solutions for safety critical harsh environment applications, at Bedlington specialising in microcircuit production for the civil aircraft, space, and defence industries.

Within the position the successful candidate would report direct to the Purchasing Manager.
To maintain order book inline with production schedule.
Expedite orders on a daily basis.
Chasing orders through Goods Inwards and RMI.
Attendance at the daily production meeting to discuss current and future shortages.
Prepare and circulate shortage report to a select audience.
Hand over problems to the Assistant Buyer(s) or Buyer if it cannot be resolved for escalation or resourcing.
Must have SAP experience.
Must be proficient in Windows including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Desireable Skills and Experience
Previous experience of the electronics sector would be an advantage.
Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role.
