    TT Electronics' plant in Kuantan, Malaysia, hosts the BI Technology business. We manufacture Magnetics components and supply for automotive, medical devices, industrial and defense components applications. We are seeking qualified and energetic candidates to join our team in Kuantan, Pahang as part of our growth plan.

    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    Introduction

    Reporting to the Materials Manager, the position will be responsible for achieving, improving, exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the supply chain.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Plan and execute procurement of direct raw materials in support of master production planning
    2. Ensure raw materials are ordered and delivered in a timely manner and must fully understand the MOQ/SPQ impact
    3. Track supplier on time deliveries
    4. Proactively report materials availability issues in monthly shortage list report.
    5. Publish summary of rescheduling and cancellation report
    6. Monitor and publish Excess and Obsolete Report
    7. Track price fluctuation of major metal commodities
    8. Ensure data accuracy in the MRP system
    9. Utilize MRP system report to adjust and reschedule purchase order in a timely manner to avoid obsolescence.
    10. Maintain appropriate inventory levels as per budget
    11. Manage excess and slow moving inventory or obsolete items
    12. Interface closely and regularly with external (suppliers) and internal parties (customer service, production, quality and shipping) to resolve materials related issues.
    13. Process non-conformance material request through MRB board and RTS request with supply chain partners
    14. Quick to respond to upsurges/urgent request from customers
    15. Adhere and support company quality, safety and health policies
    16. Participate in plant wide activities (such as Internal quality audit, Safety Programs, Health Programs, 5S & GST implementation etc)

    Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

    Core Requirements 

    • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or other related discipline
    • Minimum 3 years Supply Chain (planning and procurement) experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Ability to demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills
    • Proficient in English language both written and spoken
    • Working knowledge and understanding of MRP systems – preferably SAP
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    • Understanding of change and comprehension to sense of urgency
    • Quick decision in time of crisis
    • The work requires accuracy and concentration, detailed oriented
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet frequent deadlines
