    Roxspur Measurement & Control Ltd (RM&C), based in Sheffield, became part of TT Electronics in July 2014. Our products include sensors, thermocouples, thermometers, transducers, transmitters, flowmeters and controllers. Our modern cell based manufacturing facilities are fully flexible for small and large batch runs, enabling us to provide short lead times even for customized products The in-house manufacturing and testing is backed up by our own UKAS accredited laboratory for pressure, temperature, flow and electrical parameters. A team of field-based engineers also provide a full calibration, maintenance and repair service throughout Europe.

    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager for Northern England (and UK) to support, manage, and drive the development growth of Industrial Sensing & Control products, to allow at least 10% year on year growth.



    Key Result Areas:

    • Build business by identifying and selling and maintaining great relationships with our customers
    • Forecast and book products to ensure that sales targets are met
    • Organize, manage and drive sales to support sustained growth in assigned region
    • Properly articulate value proposition of growing product portfolio on all customer levels
    • Assist FAEs in the design-in and development cycle of new products and for managing the seamless and speedy execution of sales and engineering projects
    • Analyze market, identify and quantify New Business Opportunities (NBO’s).
    • Efficiently coordinate pre and post-sales support to achieve customer satisfaction
    • Assist in developing short, medium and long term sales plans
    • Timely, budget, forecast and report for the region
    • Review and present proposals (product selection, design solutions and project objectives) to customers
    • Ensure on-time customer delivery of all information, including samples and supporting design and product verification activities
    • Help quality and FAE teams to solve problems with applications with on-site evaluation and detailed discussion with customers
    • Update and maintain CRM system covering the customers in the region

    Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

    The successful candidate will possess the following competencies and background:

    • Experience within the Process Control sector is critical.
    • Experience of Temperature Measurement within the Aerospace sector and familiarity of AMS2750E.
    • Knowledge of Pressure and Flow measurement principals and associated products.
    • Calibration knowledge an advantage.
    • Track record of double digit sales growth per annum
    • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Technical knowledge of sensor products and electronics
    • Minimum 5+ years in Sales and Marketing of a technical product
    • Experience in selling in multiple markets (Industrial, Manufacturing and Aerospace)
    • Strong organisational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
    • Proven team leadership skills and ability to influence others at all levels within the business
    • Able to demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, influencing and decision-making skills
    • Must be enthusiastic and can demonstrate excellent people management and social skills

    Working Hours, Compensation and Benefits

    • 39 hours a week (8.30-17.00 Mon-Thu; 8:30-16.00 Fridays)
