    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    Summary:  We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies and tactics. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

     

    • Supporting the Global Marketing Director and Digital Marketing Coordinator in execution of marketing strategy. Including but not limited to:
    • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
    • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
    • Help organize marketing events
    • Assist with research and presentation development
    • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
    • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns

    Education/Experience/Credentials:  Current enrollment in a related BS or Master’s degree program. Strong desire to learn along with professional drive. Solid understanding of different marketing techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent knowledge and experience using MS Office. Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices. Ability to work independently and as a team.

     
    Language Ability:  Excellent communication both written and verbal.  Ability to read and analyze periodicals, business reports, correspondence and procedure manuals.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, Team Members and the general public.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.  The Individual must possess strong skills in grammar and proofreading.

     
    Math Ability:  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.

     
    Reasoning Ability:  Ability to collect data, solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Ability to maintain a professional and positive image in any situation using good judgment. 

     
    Computer Skills:  Ability to use office software, including Word processing, Spreadsheets, Development software, Design software, Internet software, Databases, Slide Presentations, Internet browsers, E-mail, and business systems software.
