    TT Electronics’ Mexicali facility houses 65,000 square feet of office and advanced manufacturing. With a large workforce of 126 employees, this site operates in multiple shifts with cellular production lines and 13 production cells. This site is ISO9001 certified and manufactures an array of technologies including variable and fixed resistors, EPS sensors, and trimmers.

    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to ensure that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. 


    The Quality Manager will inspect the final product to make sure it has been built with compliance to standards and meets customer expectations.


    Responsibilities include: 

    • Maintain, implement and improve the ISO9001 & TS16949 quality system
    • Ensure all products meet quality and customer performance standards. 
    • Responsible for overall quality control aspects of raw materials, in-process and finished products. 
    • Responsible for both internal and external customer requirement and follow up the issues 
    • Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.
    • Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 6 sigma, 5S, Kaizen lean method, etc
    • Develop training to build quality awareness, provide training of quality tools like FMEA, Control, 8D reports and SPC
    • Audit internal factories and give coaching for non-conformance improvements Implement corporate regulations down to plan level and ensure effectively in use
    • Interface with engineering and operations to ensure NPI products are verified and validated in accordance with approved customer requirements
    • Ensure timely resolution of customer complaint, develop corrective actions and preventive actions
    • Work with other department to conduct productivity improvement and materials localization plan.

    Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

    The successful candidate can demonstrate:

    • Bachelor degree in electronics industrial engineering or equivalent
    • 10 years of progressive experience in Quality. Experience in automotive companies 
    • 3 years of management experience leading a Quality team
    • Master Degree in Quality Reliability and/or Productivity (is a plus)
    • Familiar with ISO9001 & TS16949 (PFEMA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, etc.); process control plan 
    • Proficient handling quality improvement tools, core tools, six sigma 
    • Internal auditor certificate of ISO9001&TS16949 
    • Desirable ASQ CQE or ASQ CMQ Certified 
    • Must be Bilingual (Spanish and English) and possess strong communication skills both written and spoken 
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
