    New Chapel Electronics Ltd, as part of TT Electronics, is a provider of back-shells, electrical harnessing systems and wiring solutions to the Defence and Aerospace Markets. We were established in 1978 in Fairford, Gloucestershire and today our team is almost 70 members strong.

    Role Overview and Responsibilities


    This is both an internal and external facing role reporting to the Senior Team Leader - Production which oversees the packing and despatching of products both inside and outside of the UK. Delivering products to customers as and when required during business hours


    Key Responsibilities

    • All Company products to be bagged, labelled and packaged in accordance with the relevant work instructions and specifications
    • Paperwork for invoicing and despatching to be processed and export documentation to be raised and controlled as required
    • External couriers to be arranged and monitored
    • Accurate record keeping and filing
    • Availability to drive company vehicles, as required, and to make deliveries, using the Company van, to destinations within the UK and sometimes at short notice
    • Replenishment of stock ie boxes, bags etc
    • Ensure that the company vehicle is clean and well-maintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive
    • Adhere to company operating policies and procedures
    • Drive in accordance with the company’s Driver Handbook to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
    • Any other duties as required

    Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

    Core Requirements

    • Clean driving licence
    • Basic computer knowledge

    • The ability to be flexible – be able to start early for deliveries and stay later for end of month shipping as required
    • May have to lift heavy products or parcels
