    This role is based at Aero Stanrew, our Barnstaple location; part of the Power Electronics division where we employ approximately 250 employees and specialise in the manufacture of wound components, printed-circuit board assemblies, cabinet wiring and electronic test equipment for the civil aircraft, space, and defence industries.

    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    Introduction

    We are looking to engage a Facilities Assistant to work Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-13:00.

     

    The position will require a real ‘can do’ attitude and succesful candidates will act with efficiency and professionalism at the forefront of everything undertaken. Customer service and attention to detail is a must and the succesful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of maintenance and repairs across the site.

     

     

    Key Responsibilities

    The Facilities assistant will support maintenance and facilities staff by performing maintenance duties such as:

     

    Fixing doors and changing locks
    Carry out carpentry works and repair furniture
    Repair plumbing appliances
    Carry out flooring works
    Troubleshooting general maintenance problems
    Repair and replace general hardware
    Remove stains and paintworks across the site when necessary
    Attend to members of the team promptly when called upon

    Occasional customer deliveries, nationwide.
