    TT Electronics' plant in Kuantan, Malaysia, hosts the BI Technology business. We manufacture Magnetics components and supply for automotive, medical devices, industrial and defense components applications. We are seeking qualified and energetic candidates to join our team in Kuantan, Pahang as part of our growth plan.

    Role Overview and Responsibilities

     Reporting to the Line Leader, the position will be responsible for daily production build of magnetic products that could vary from single model to a series of part numbers.


    Key Responsibilities

    [Please list the the main responsibilities and deliverables of the role, not an exhaustive list of all duties]

    • Perform winding, soldering, assembly, visual inspection, electrical testing and other processes deem required to build good quality parts.
    • Build parts in accordance to aerospace product workmanship standard to assure conformity of products and customer’s requirements.
    • Maintain proper counts and update tracking for inventory, outputs, defects and quality yield.
    • Escalate production issues to production Line Leaders or Supervisor as needed.
    • Maintain clean, safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
    • Perform basic set-up on the manufacturing equipment such as Elmer winding machine, soldering iron and other equipment set for the aerospace products manufacturing.
    • Assist in maintenance of tools and manufacturing equipment.
    • Participate in plant wide activities (Lean, Internal Quality Audit, Safety Programs, 5S & etc.)
    • To report any incidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences or conditions to the line management.
    • Support on minor line set-up and minor machine/fixture repair.

    Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

    Core Requirements

    • Minimum in MLVK (at least level 3 and above) Certification in technical studies.
    • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia language both written and spoken and to certain extent of English communication.
    • General proficient in MS Office applications.
    • Competent in using measuring equipment e.g. calipers, testers, scopes.

    Desireable Skills and Experience

    ·         Yield and Productivity

    ·         Process documentation understanding (Process flow, Control Plan - CP, Operations Instruction Cards - OIC, etc.)

    ·         Understanding on equipment (machines, tools, jigs, fixtures and gauges) available in production floor

    ·         Minimizing inventory.

    ·         Understanding and support root cause analysis.

    ·         Understanding and support Value Stream Mapping.

    ·         Understanding and support LEAN Manufacturing and innovative solutions to improve production rate and quality.

    ·         Understanding and support Ergonomics, safety improvements and environmental.

    ·         Support in data collecting SPC.
