    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    Introduction

    We are recruiting for an HR Advisor, to join TT Electronics in our Rogerstone, Wales location reporting to the HR Manager.

     

    To purpose of the role is to support the development and implementation of the Human Resource Strategy to meet the agreed organizational performance plans and within agreed budgets and timescales.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure the effective implementation of the HR strategy in line with divisional and local operating plans and constraints.
    • Support the many and varied HR activities throughout the year as required, from Recruitment to Performance Management to Reward to Personal Development 
    • Identify & drive continuous improvement within the Human Resource function, bringing best practice and consistency to the sites where possible.
    • Ensure that HR considerations are taken fully into account in all key decision-making.
    • Ensure that Managers and staff are aware of HR policies and procedures and able to operate them effectively, and put solutions in place to strengthen this as required.
    • Support the training and development activities around the site.
    • Provide support and advice as appropriate in disciplinary, grievance and similar employee relations matters.
    • Ensure the HR database is managed and up to date

    • Ensure the company meets is H&S requirements and help to drive health and safety throughout the site.
    • Ensure the company complies with all aspect of Employment Law. Liaise with HR leadership and solicitors for legal advice when required.
    • To identify and drive continuous improvements within the HR area.
    • Liaise with an Occupational Health Advisor for medical examinations and health screenings as appropriate.
    • Monitor and report of HR KPIs including absenteeism, training hours, turnover, etc. on a monthly bases.

    Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

     

    Core Requirements

    • Effective mediation and negotiation skills
    • Effective communicatoin skills both written and verbal remiaing professional at all times
    • Ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
    • Ability to influence employees, Managers and Leadership teams

     

    Desireable Skills and Experience

    • 1 – 5 years of relevant experience of working in human resources, including policy and procedure development, performance management and employee development.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law
    • Ability to think strategically and to ensure that HR issues are addressed in the strategy & operational plans of the organization
    • Highly organized with effective time management skills
    • IT skills within Microsoft Office
