    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    Summary:  Marketing Content Curator will contribute to marketing, organizational, and sales initiatives by creating insightful contact for articles, sales presentations, webinars, press releases, blogs and other print and digitally focused efforts. In this role, you will research, write and edit a wide variety marketing content by interviewing employees, editing employee-authored thought leadership pieces, repurposing existing industry articles, or researching industry trends to capitalize on third party data. The successful Marketing Content Curator will possess both a self-starter attitude and the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

     

    • Focus on researching, writing and editing compelling content for both printed and digital marketing materials, web content, articles, blogs, promotional materials, sales collateral, case studies, print and digital ads, press releases, infographics, sales presentations and webinars that reflect the company’s brand voice, overall domestic and international business goals and strategic objectives.
    • Manage multiple projects and topics simultaneously, seamlessly moving from topic to topic as needed.
    • Interface regularly with internal SME’s and industry influencers for content discovery.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to bring new content to life in the most appropriate and relevant mediums, aligning with the company’s global marketing strategy at all times.

    Education/Experience/Credentials:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, English, or Journalism.  At least 2-5 years content marketing experience and proven understanding of content marketing and distribution channels.

     
    Language Ability:  Excellent communication both written and verbal.  Ability to read and analyze periodicals, business reports, correspondence and procedure manuals.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and Team Members.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.  The Individual must possess exceptionally strong skills in grammar and punctuation.

     
    Math Ability:  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.

     
    Reasoning Ability:  Ability to collect data, solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Ability to maintain a professional and positive image in any situation using good judgment. 

     
    Computer Skills:  Ability to use office software, including Word processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Slide Presentations, Internet browsers, E-mail, and business systems software.
