    Roxspur Measurement & Control Ltd (RM&C), based in Sheffield, became part of TT Electronics in July 2014. Our products include sensors, thermocouples, thermometers, transducers, transmitters, flowmeters and controllers. Our modern cell based manufacturing facilities are fully flexible for small and large batch runs, enabling us to provide short lead times even for customized products The in-house manufacturing and testing is backed up by our own UKAS accredited laboratory for pressure, temperature, flow and electrical parameters. A team of field-based engineers also provide a full calibration, maintenance and repair service throughout Europe.

    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    The role is to be the Commercial lead for the Flow & Pressure Internal sales team, to support the growth of the business by providing commercial sales support for customers and the regional sales force, including pre and post client interaction throughout the sales process.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • First point of contact to Flow and Pressure Internal Sales Team to support planning delivery of solutions; answering commercial and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members and supervision.
    • Participate in the entire sales process as part of Internal Sales Team.
    • Work with customers to present a technical perspective on the company’s sales offering.
    • Act as point of contact to Local Operations Teams to collaborate and obtain information to support sales opportunities.
    • Provide alternative solutions to customers or sales team as required to meet unique end user, component or installation criteria.
    • Assist with development of customer presentation tools (quotations, data sheets, spread sheets) and coordination of end-user site visits.
    • Develop sales and marketing literature for key vertical market segments.
    • Interface with internal departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of solution delivery to individual end users.
    • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
    • Be aware of business strategies and work towards published targets.
    • Ensure that sales margins are maintained at the correct level, as advised by the Product Line Director

    Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

    Core Requirements

    • Experience - minimum three years technical field or inside technical sales support or engineering design with significant customer interaction.
    • College educated or equivalent in either commercial or technical aspects (electrical, engineering or physics).

    Working Hours, Compensation and Benefits

    • 39 hours a week (8.30-17.00 Mon-Thu; 8:30-16.00 Fridays)
