    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    Introduction

     

    We’re recruiting for an Environment, Health and Safety Coordinator within Power and Hybrid based in Lutterworth. The role will support the EHS Manager with a range of duties as we work to continually improve our Health and Safety Culture and achieve our ‘Zero Harm’ objectives. This is a temporary role initially for a 6 month period however there may be a permanent opportunity thereafter for the right candidate.

     

    Key Responsibilities

     

    • Assisting the EHS Manager to maintain legal and insurance compliance
    • Maintaining health and safety records
    • Assisting with the progression of the site improvement plan
    • Supporting site Health & Safety Roadmap Champions
    • Reviewing Risk Assessments and assisting with corrective actions as required
    • Sustaining emergency planning
    • Assisting with Accident Investigations as required
    • Assist the site Facilities team to Maintain routine checks and controls of hazards
    • Review Near Miss and Hazard Reports, closing out actions as required
    • Involvement with external and Internal audits and closing out non conformances
    • Help to identify and progress Training needs and levels of competence
    • Work with the wider group towards a Zero Harm Environment
    • Assist in ensuring 14001 and 18001 compliance is maintained
    • Work with Facilities Team on shared projects, welfare maintenance and improvements
    • General Administrative Tasks as required

    Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

    Core Requirements

     

    The successful candidate will ideally have experience working in a manufacturing environment or similar. You will be methodical in approach and be a proven problem solver, always striving for continuous improvement. You will have sound Microsoft Office Skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will support your success.

     

    Desireable Skills and Experience

     

    Experience working with business systems such as SAP, Sales Force and Q Pulse would be advantageous.
