    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director – Power Electronics Division, the primary purpose of the role is to contribute to the attainment of the company's business objectives by:

    • Providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure that the company's financial commitments are met; 
    • Ensuring the site operates in accordance with the TT Group policies and ensuring the sound financial management and control of the Company’s operations;
    • Providing effective leadership to the business unit finance team (located in Minneapolis, Taishan and Hong Kong) and being a key business partner for the Precision General Manager and management team, providing insightful analysis to support business decisions
    • Deliver business forecast, and support as necessary to ensure the company delivers on its’ commitments. 
    • Provide insightful analysis, support business decisions, understand key contracts and KPIs, providing analysis of variances and support of corrective actions as required.
    • Lead the preparation of consolidated reports, strategic plans and annual budgets for the business (4 locations)
    • Support execution of the business’ strategy, challenging management and the team to maximize the shareholder value.
    • Ensure Group policies, controls and procedures are implemented properly and are followed across the finance and business organization.
    • Support, collaborate and influence initiatives that improve business performance, delivering the required cash and profit without compromising customer service.
    • Establish HFM as the management reporting system.
    • Interface HFM to Epicor.
    • Set up management reporting system in accordance with TT practices.
    • Review and make recommendations for the costing system to align with TT methodologies.
    • Implement financial controls including delegated authorities in line with the TT Group’s requirements.
    • Present financial options and strategies to senior business leaders in person and on the phone.
    • Construct financial models to analyse the impact of current and proposed actions including capital projects and acquisitions.
    • Direct and control finance staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed such that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard

    • Outstanding analytical and accounting skills.
    • Ideally familiar with Hyperion financial reporting systems
    • Ideally familiar with Epicor ERP system.
    • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
      • BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field.
      • Finance professional with at least five years’ experience of working in a manufacturing environment. 
      • A quantitative thinker able to use numbers to communicate and validate critical concepts as well as able to extract insight from data.
      • Team player, receptive to ideas. Shares information and keeps key stakeholders informed
      • Familiarity with Epicor and HFM.
      • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
      • Excellent written and spoken English.
      • Experience of working in a publicly traded manufacturing business.
      • Ideally has been a team member on the integration of an acquired business.
      • Able to travel internationally
