    Our Barnstaple facility is located in North Devon. Founded in 1948, the site now employs approximately 250 employees and features the Aero Stanrew brand of electromagnetic components, printed-circuit board assemblies, cabinet wiring and electronic test equipment for safety critical applications in aerospace and defence, industrial and transportation industries.

    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    An opprtunity has arisen for a Customer Account Management Department lead to join our Branstaple facility to establish strong relationships and processes between Customers and the Customer Account Management team to best enable the business to provide a high tandard of service to customers and greater visibility of customer service and challenges inside of the business; ensuring we remain ahead of the competition, continuously growing our business.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    Familiar with managing customer account managers, customer service and estimating functions.
    Have been an account manager or key account manager but also with experience of managing a department.
    Experienced in managing the dependencies on other functions that are critical to delivering on customer service, Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, IT and other functions.
    Manage the team to schedule and attend regular meetings with key Customers, typically in support of Quarterly Business Reviews to review past performance and set forward-looking objectives and targets.
    Track and report on key metrics with Customer, such as scorecard criteria (Inc. OTIF, PPM), and use this information to share with the customers and support improvement.
    Management of pricing activity with the Customers to ensure best recoveries based on value to the customer and realise close/win on business opportunities.
    Proactively provide information to the Customers on TT Power Electronics activity and new technology developments.
    Escalation point and champion for managing Customer service issues within the business.
    Report monthly Service challenges in the daily meetings and work with production on resolution plans and customer expectation management.
    Work collaboratively with other “Key Customer managers” within TT Electronics.
    Manage the monthly demand cycle reporting for Aerostanrew.
    Work with Planning and BDM’s to update forecasts/comments within the Demand Process.

    Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

    Core Requirements:

    Excellent communication skills and demonstrable experience of effective negotiation and influencing skills for win-win outcomes. Succesful candidates will thrive under pressure and deliver to deadlines. Succesful candidates will be flexible in approach and willing to undertake business travel.
    A strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel to support business reporting is essential to this role.
    Experience in the use of ERP systems and the engagement of teams in these systems for basic business management is also critical.

     

    Desireable Skills and Experience:

    To be successful, candidates will be highly customer focused with excellent technical knowledge and a keen eye for detail
    You will have experience in managing and driving customer teams to levels of service excellence as acknowledged by the customers

    Must be capable of managing a multi-functional team in the customer management environment
    Be strong in people management and implementation of change
    Have strong time management skills and be good at prioritising tasks
