    Role Overview and Responsibilities

    SMT Operator's work a 3 shift pattern with shift allowance paid at mornings 20%, afternoons 22.5% and nights 33.33%


    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    • To ensure all paperwork is at an acceptable level.
    • Meet hourly production targets and monitor and report accordingly.
    • To ensure quality is at the required ipc model standard.
    • To ensure housekeeping is at a high standard.
    • To ensure ESD requirements are met at all times.
    • To ensure Environmental, Health & Safety requirements are met at all times.
    • To ensure all TTims departmental procedures is being adhered to.
    • Day to day control of production requirements.
    • Day to day control of kitting and material flow through department.
    • Attend daily production( Team Brief) meetings when required.
    • Communicate well and work as part of a team.
    • Able to input information onto the quality data base when required.
    • Ability to understand product MI / QI and implement function.
    • Ability to print & label printed circuit boards.
    • Ensure compliance with company codes of conduct

    Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

    Person Profile:

    • To achieve and maintain the set kpi targets.
    • To achieve and maintain acceptable quality levels, always striving for zero defects.
    • To maintain a good standard of house keeping.
    • Ability to read working instructions and drawings.
    • Ideally IPC 610 Certified.
    • Capable of communicating process issues and suggest improvements.
    • Well Organised / Flexible / Motivation.
