Located in Suzhou, a beautiful city by the Yangtze River, the Global Manufacturing Solutions (GMS) business enjoys a high reputation as low volume/high mix manufacturer of products ranged from box-build, PCBA and cable assembling.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct market research activities to identify key customers and market segments.
  2. Hunt for new logo accounts that are defined as “right-fit” to the company through proper sales qualification process
  3. Establish and maintain good relationships with key customers
  4. Work closely with PM and engineer to manage all projects with won new logo customers
  5. Identify new product opportunities.
  6. Prepare tender documents and proposals.
  7. Prepare and negotiate sales contracts
  8. Prepare publicity materials and sales literature.
  9. Keep abreast of market trends which have impact on business such as technology advances.
  10. Coordinate between customer and internal project team to get over project crisis when needed
  11. Research and maintain records of competitors activities and contracts won.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Core Requirements

  1. Be able to demonstrate a high level of successful sales at profitable margins.
  2. Have an engineering background through commercial technical sales support activities.
  3. Demonstrate astute business awareness and have considerable negotiation skills.
  4. Communicable both in English and Chinese Mandarin.
  5. Computer literate, and have full understanding of Power Point, Word, Excel and be able to convince clients using professional presentations.
  6. EMS working experience or being familiar with EMS industry will be essential.
  7. Experienced Sales professional with a minimum of five years’ experience in manufacturing industry
  8. Experience in Medical, Industrial, Railway and Aerospace market segments.
  9. English written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  10. Highly organized and has very effective time management skills
  11. Knowledge of finance, ability of data analysis
  12. Solid presentation skills

  1. Knowledge and experience in laws relevant to all business activities, regulations, policies and practices
  2. Communication & interpersonal skills
  3. High EQ, ability to deal difficult conversations and conflict management.
  4. Management skills, good at leading a team.
