TT Electronics’ Olathe, Kansas facility, is an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of custom magnetic products and assemblies. The Olathe-based site has 65 years’ experience in the design and development of unique harsh-environment solutions for mission-critical applications.

Role Overview and Responsibilities


Cover all duties related to the front desk and assist Human Resources with administrative duties and special projects.  Create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensure high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety.


Key Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, assist the Human Resources Department with various duties to help ensure the department operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate and manage internal employee committees, with minimal supervision, for Wellness, Social, Community, and Diversity.
  • Greet and interact professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills providing direction and resources to address needs.
  • Assists with the planning, preparation, and coordination of logistics for on-site customer and vendor visits, as well as off-site events.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support, collecting and analyzing information, preparing, compiling, drafting, distributing, filing, and updating correspondence, reports, employee records and general information.
  • Maintain e-mail and phone line, answering questions and providing requested information, or referring questions to the subject matter experts.
  • Handles, mail, outgoing and incoming; provides scanning of accounting  mail to Shared Services Center on a regular basis.
  • Monitors office supply inventory and orders supplies as needed.
  • Provides assistance to various departments (i.e., Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, Accounting), as needed.
  • Other duties as required and/or assigned.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • GED or High School diploma preferred, but not required.
  • 1-2 years administrative assistant experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks at any given time.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to interact with a wide audience of internal and external customers is required.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds could be required.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).  All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.  ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S.Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
