Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will work closely with Engineering, Leadership, & Production team members to assist with design, production, research, process flows, process improvements, and documentation.
- Interns will have the opportunity to learn about LEAN manufacturing, AS 9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards
- The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will attend Manufacturing Engineering meetings as required
- The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will complete continuous improvement projects which have a focus on quality, safety, and cost by creating and updating documentation, performing time studies and identifying wastes in a value stream, brainstorming, prioritizing, selecting, and implementing improvements.
- Projects and additional duties will be assigned throughout the assignment based on current business and manufacturing needs.
- Interns will be expected to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours/week and will be compensated on an hourly basis.
