We are currently seeking Engineering interns to join our Dallas team for Summer 2025! The job requirements will focus on supporting the Process Engineering Team by documenting and updating procedures, work instructions and visual aids on the production floor. Other responsibilities will include, but not limited to process monitoring and trend analysis using SPC, capacity analysis, time studies and line balancing. 

We are offering interships for Summer 2025 in the following areas: 

• Mechanical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Electrical Engineering

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• This position requires the ability to create detail documentation capturing process improvements into a language easy to understand for production team
• Collect samples, measure process parameters and create trends to support the process engineer to make process adjustments or improvements
• Evaluate and find root-causes for problems ensuring proper implementation of controls to prevent them and further improve
• Collaborate with production and engineering team members to improve yield.
• Work on data analytics by using statistical methods and regression techniques.
• Recognize simple vs. complex improvement opportunities and prioritize/highlight areas of improvement based on impact, effort, expense, and timelines.
• Follow all plant safety policies to ensure and enhance a safe working environment.

Qualifications: 

• Experience with the use of Microsoft software package
• Familiarity with time studies, line balancing, SPC, standardize work.
• Familiarity with measurement tools such as vernier, data loggers, thermometers.
• Familiar with statistics software: Minitab, Design-Ease or Design-Expert.
• Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Must have a positive/can-do attitude.
• Must be a self-starter and require minimum direct supervision.
• Must take ownership of assigned duties and be responsive to needs as they arise in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Team player
• Go the extra mile when required.
• Safety conscious
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret and develop both written technical documents and tabular presentation of data is required.

Desireable Skills and Experience

Currently studying Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or other related fields.
