TT Electronics’ Minneapolis, Minnesota facility, is an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of custom and standard magnetic components and assemblies. The Minneapolis-based site has over 50 years of design experience and specializes in the creation of innovative and sophisticated solutions for solving customer magnetic technology needs. We use cutting-edge materials and state-of-the-art design technology to deliver products across a broad range of industries including renewable energy, medical device, aerospace/aviation/automotive, electronics, food processing, instrumentation, industrial control, telecommunications and HVAC applications.

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our growing team.   The Production Manager will serve as the leader of our production team with direct responsibility for department operation, safety, quality, and performance.  You will work with experts in designing and assembling sensors and electronic components.  This manager will have an opportunity to grow and shape the direction of the manufacturing organization.

What you will do:

• Manage production of the Minneapolis plant.  Ensure that production meets safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement goals
• Analyze production performance & improvements to identify and direct activities to correct process inefficiencies
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to solve problems with tooling, equipment, processes, and facilities
• Ensure accurate time reporting for both payroll and job costing purposes
• Perform HR related activities including but not limited to; time & attendance, hiring, performance management, training, team development, coaching, and recognition
• Partner with Sr. Operations Manager to promote and drive a safety culture
• Implement Lean manufacturing principals to achieve quality improvements, improved customer satisfaction, and cost reductions
• Execute production schedule and adapt to meet the customer needs
• Communicate across departments and shifts to ensure alignment and teamwork
• Performs other duties as assigned

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience leading Lean transformation
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Previous experience working in an ISO certified facility or within a quality management facility preferred

What we offer you:

• The salary range is $70,000 - $85,000 depending on qualifications
