TT Electronics’ Mexicali facility houses 65,000 square feet of office and advanced manufacturing. With a large workforce of 126 employees, this site operates in multiple shifts with cellular production lines and 13 production cells. This site is ISO9001 certified and manufactures an array of technologies including variable and fixed resistors, EPS sensors, and trimmers.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Introduction

Analyze and control fixed assets, manage the company's cycle count procedures, support cost accounting activities, and provide accurate financial information to support business operations and decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Record acquired fixed assets (tangible and intangible), track existing fixed assets, and calculate and record depreciation.
  • Record and document fixed asset disposals, and perform scheduled and ad hoc fixed asset audits in coordination with the Cost and Inventory Leader.
  • Monitor and prepare weekly analyses, or as required, of warehouse receipts related to purchase orders associated with capital projects.
  • Monitor the progress of construction-in-progress (CIP) capital projects on a weekly basis.
  • Analyze and prepare daily and monthly production line productivity reports, identifying out-of-control conditions and anomalies to ensure the accurate reporting and publication of information.
  • Prepare and analyze reconciliations of fixed asset general ledger accounts and upload reconciliations into the company's financial reconciliation system.
  • Analyze and prepare daily and monthly sales reports.
  • Prepare annual tax reports and provide supporting information for analysis and approval.
  • Manage, coordinate, and monitor inventory cycle counts using the SAP ABC cycle counting program with assigned personnel, and communicate cycle count findings.
  • Coordinate supplier inventory verification activities by generating quarterly cycle count documentation.
  • Perform weekly and monthly warehouse cycle count audits and communicate findings to warehouse personnel.
  • Prepare reports, account analyses, and other financial analyses required to meet departmental objectives and reporting requirements.
 
 

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Core Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (80%), including verbal and written communication.

 

Desireable Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting, Cycle Count processes, and Fixed Asset Management.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
