Role Overview and Responsibilities

Summary:

Ensures that final circuit boards are functional and operational.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Set up, identify and operate test equipment (DMM, power supply, oscilloscope).
  • Follow proper testing procedures and recognize electronic values, such as volts, amps, ohms, farads and complete paperwork associated with tests.
  • Familiar with MSDS sheets and demonstrate proper handling precautions when working with process chemicals and materials.
  • Properly install and remove ICs from sockets.
  • Ensure that after initial testing all boards are stamped, depanled or a test failure tag has been completed.
  • Observes proper lifting techniques when handling test fixtures.
  • Follow ITAR regulations.

  • Ability to read and understand all necessary work instructions.
  • Basic computer skills.

 

Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by Team Member to successfully perform of the essential functions of this job.  

Constantly reach, lift, grasp, talk, hear 90-100% of the time; frequently stand, walk, finger, feel, and do repetitive motion 60-90% of the time; Occasionally balance, push, and pull 30-60%

Visual Acuity: The Team member is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities for operation of machines, including visual inspection, using measurement devices; and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes. Ability or increased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions.
