Role Overview and Responsibilities

  • The Production Manager will serve as the leader of our production team with direct responsibility for department operation, safety, quality, and performance. You will work with experts in designing and assembling sensors and electronic components. This manager will have an opportunity to grow and shape the direction of the manufacturing organization.
  • Manage production of the Loveland plant. Ensure that production meets safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement goals.
  • Analyze production performance & improvements to identify and direct activities to correct process inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to solve problems with tooling, equipment, processes, and facilities.
  • Ensure accurate time reporting for both payroll and job costing purposes.
  • Perform HR related activities including but not limited to; time & attendance, hiring, performance management, training, team development, coaching, and recognition.
  • Partner with Senior Director of Operations to promote and drive a safety culture.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to achieve quality improvements, improved customer satisfaction, and cost reductions.
  • Execute production schedule and adapt to meet the customer needs.
  • Communicate across departments and shifts to ensure alignment and teamwork.
  • Other duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Experience leading Lean transformation.
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Previous experience working in an ISO certified facility or within a quality management facility preferred.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks at any given time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Salary range: $87,850.00- $131,770.00/yr, and possible Site Bonus depending on company goals.
