Role Overview and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Director (FD) of Boston, the Senior Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial updates to the FD and OSL (Operation Site Lead) by evaluating, analyzing and reporting appropriate data points. This is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for accounting transactions, coordinating and interacting with a distributed team of financial shared services (FSC). This role will support the FD in the management and oversight of the Compliance Control Framework. This is a crucial control across all TT Electronics requiring changes in workflow process. Produce thorough financial status reports for all levels of management to help improve efficiencies, identify opportunities and aid in TT Boston's continued growth. Support the business entities’ TEAM members acting as site HR liaison to Corporate HR.

 

This is an on-site role Monday-Friday.

 

Financial Control and Compliances:

  • Internal Risk Control & Implementation: continue to develop and implement the internal controls to maximize efficiencies aligning policy, procedure and workflow.
  • Financial System: the lead person to ensure the financial system (SAGE) meets the operation and compliance requirements. 
  • Financial Transactions Management: complete overview of transactions flowing up into the GL including management of payable, receivable and inventory. 
  • Financial and KPIs Reporting: providing thorough, complete, and accurate reporting of data to financial management. 

Financial Functional Support:

  • Lead the partnership with Shared Services Team. 
  • Lead and coordinate the AR and AP activities with FSC. 
  • Coordinate and resolve any gap/disagreement with customers and suppliers. 

Commercial KPIs, Historical Trending and Reports:

  • Pricing, costing and margin analysis to support commercial activities. 
  • Payment history and credit terms. 

Support to Distribution, Engineering and Operations:

  • Partnership with logistic team to plan the shipment activities to meet the forecast.
  • Review and sign-off the operations logs: PO creation, SO change and inbound freight.
  • Lead the financial aspect of the RMA activities. 
  • Lead and review the monthly distributors' commission payment. 
  • Financial partner to meet the HSE control compliance requirements. 

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

  • College Degree – Associates accepted with at least 8 years of business experience
  • College Degree – Bachelor’s (accounting or business) with 5 years of business experience
  • Knowledge and use of SAGE ERP Software or similar.
  • Proficient with MS office products (Excel, Word, Power Point etc).
  • Well-developed leadership skills.
  • Professional mannerisms.
  • An accomplished collaborator, who is able to operate horizontally within the
    organization supporting the team.
  • An experienced multitasker.
  • Position requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal
    skills.
  • Position requires the ability to motivate teams.
