Role Overview and Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Sales Enablement CRM Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing our company’s strategic planning and decision-making processes. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams and will serve as the front-end SFDC business analyst and partner within the Commercial business function. This role will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and adoption of continuous improvement projects within Salesforce (SFDC) as well as forecasting initiatives. This cross-functional and collaborative, business analyst role will serve in both sales operations and sales enablement capacities to deliver process improvements that drive sales effectiveness and data integrity, including data analysis and reporting, forecasting, process optimization, and developing and delivering training content and playbooks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Analysis and Enablement
    • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data and processes within Salesforce Sales Cloud.
    • Help create and standardize KPIs that enable business leaders to manage their teams to core metrics and provide actionable insights.
    • Simplify and optimize SFDC reports and dashboards. Make consumption of reports accessible and relevant to commercial team members and leaders.
    • Analyze data to provide insights into the operation, effectiveness, and productivity of the commercial team.
    • Provide end user support for processes managed within SFDC and assist in identifying and resolving data anomalies and errors.
    • Prepare regular communications to inform users of system functionality and process updates.
    • Produce training, standard procedures, and other materials to enable sales team productivity.
    • Train new employees on operational processes and analysis in Salesforce.
    • Identify, define, and support system continuous improvement projects from kick off through deployment.
  • Forecast Analysis and Visualization
    • Collect, evaluate, and analyze complex and disparate sales data while maintaining forecast models.
    • Develop forecast models from the ground up for select sites to create global parity, and pressure test existing site models for accuracy.
    • Complete analysis to understand how forecasts are changing to the current plan and prior forecasts.
    • Perform analytics to support annual, monthly, and quarterly sales reporting cycles.
    • Develop reports to support analysis and ad hoc requests.
    • Utilize Salesforce, Excel, Power BI to perform sales data analysis for a variety of sales stakeholders.
    • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 5+ years working in analytical or sales reporting capacity, including Salesforce and Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Advanced knowledge of standard SFDC objects and functionality is required.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate business requirements into solutions and insights.
  • Strong organizational skills, planning and execution with a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Experience with developing KPIs and executing dashboard reporting, designing custom reports, and joining data from multiple sources.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to scrutinize data to drive for accuracy.
  • Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate business objectives and manage large group discussions.
  • Desire and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to flex and deliver solutions in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is an asset.
