Role Overview and Responsibilities

Purpose of Role

This is a senior-level role where you will support our regional sites to oversee the entire supply chain operation to ensure the supply chain is efficient, cost-effective and aligned with company objectives.

 

Areas of Responsibility

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of global supply chain activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers and negotiate contracts to optimise value.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals.
  • Manage and mentor the supply chain teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strategic sourcing: Ability to secure the best suppliers and negotiate cost-effective contracts.
  • Process improvement: Continuous optimization of the supply chain process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Risk management: Ability to identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans including the roll out of the Group Risk Management Project.
  • Sustainability – Management of the Group sustainability project from a Supply Chain perspective.
  • Cost Management Projects.

Key Suppliers, VP P&C, Regional SVPs, Site Directors, Regional Procurement Leads.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Person Specification

 

Qualifications or equivalent experience:

  • Degree-educated in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field or proven Supply Chain experience at a senior level.
  • Excellent communication skills to develop and maintain positive relationships both inside and outside the company.
  • Adaptable and open to new ideas, with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills to resolve supplier and internal issues effectively.
  • Ability to lead, inspire and mentor the site Supply Chain leads.
