This role is pivotal in ensuring our organization remains compliant with federal procurement regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other related policies. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating government contracting requirements, preparing compliance documentation, and performing risk assessments to mitigate regulatory and operational risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to all federal procurement regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and other applicable laws and policies in both prime and subcontracting agreements.
  • Contract Review and Analysis: Review government contracts and subcontract agreements to identify compliance risks and assist the business in understanding such requirements.
  • Audit and Risk Management: Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and data related to government contracts. Conduct periodic assessments of procurement practices and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Training and Education: Develop and deliver training sessions on FAR/DFARS compliance and other federal procurement regulations to relevant internal teams, including procurement, legal, and finance.
  • Compliance Documentation: Prepare and maintain compliance reports, policies, and procedures. Ensure all contract modifications and changes are documented accurately and submitted in a timely manner to maintain compliance with government standards.
  • Reporting and Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related inquiries regarding federal contracts. Liaise with external auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve compliance issues.
  • Contract Modifications: Ensure that all updates comply with applicable regulations.
  • Stay Updated on Regulatory Changes: Continuously monitor and review changes in FAR/DFARS and related regulations. Advise management and relevant departments on the impact of new regulations and ensure the organization remains compliant with any changes.
