Role Overview and Responsibilities

Dynamic, energetic, and experienced relationship builder. Bright, proactive, customer-centric thinker. Manage customer initiatives for a specific set of customers in the following areas: new products, order processing, product replacements, quotations, change orders, as well as keep abreast of organizational changes at the customer, and prepare client summaries for the Business Review Process.  This role is critical as a single point of contact for customer support, including resolution of issues and communications on existing and new business.

 

Essential Functions

  • Manages customer relationships with key accounts.
  • Sells and markets TT Electronics Products to new and existing clients.
  • Builds and manages a pipeline of prospects from searching activities and incoming leads.
  • Develops and maintains price quotes and proposals RFI/RFP/RFQ. Follows up on win/loss to ensure completeness of project before closing.
  • Processes new, and repeat orders, including validation of price, quantity, revisions, and preparation of materials for Production.
  • Manages and tracks sales leads from assigned account lists.
  • Ensures that minimum input information requirements are met on new product quotations by liaising with the customer.
  • Follows the course of all specification change activity to ensure implementation and appropriate cost change is captured and implemented.
  • Manages the annual Business Review process with all participants to ensure that all desired elements of the BR process are met. Works to standardize the BR process within specific customer categories.
  • Monitors events at the customer and interprets them to the business.
  • Ensures customer contact lists and interface information are current and up to date.
  • Participates in the decision process for special billings, ensures customers acceptance, and prompts and correct billing occurs.
  • Ensures all customer reports required for receiving verification, daily production, on-time delivery, ship status, release status etc are available to the customer on time and accurately.
  • Manages Customer Service Complaints Process.
  • Ensures delays from customer are expeditiously resolved.
  • Single Point of contact for initiatives and tactical day to day issue and Customer Order Management.
  • Other duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Core Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred; engineering or a related field is a plus.
  • Five or more years of successful sales territory development.
  • Experience or domain knowledge of the electronic components industry and/or product sourcing for the medical device market.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Good working understanding of a common sales cycle, with experience in discovery, prospecting, and closing tactics.
  • Proactive work habits with ability to work independently.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise applications like CRM, ERP, PLM and SCM.
  • Skilled at cold calling and prospecting to identify new business opportunities.
  • Strong Communication and Issue Resolution Skills.
  • PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Should be a self-starter to be able to help with processes.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good integrity and values system. Very honest, strong principles.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.
