Role Overview and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the production line.
  • Responsible for staffing and providing training to employees on production processes, safety protocols, and equipment use.
  • Assign tasks to team members and ensure proper resource allocation to meet production schedules.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure they align with quality standards, timelines, and efficiency goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach team members to achieve performance goals.
  • Conduct daily team meetings to communicate priorities, goals, and address concerns.
  • Process Monitoring and Quality Assurance
  • Monitor and inspect production lines for issues, including bottlenecks, quality defects, or equipment malfunctions and pick up kits determining short material needed.
  • Ensure finished goods are received into inventory.
  • Communicate order status and uncertainty that may impact on-time to delivery.
  • Ensure hour-by-hour and production goals are clearly communicated.
  • Troubleshoot problems quickly, collaborate with maintenance or other departments for resolution, and make maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for shift change communication between 1st and 2nd shift.
  • Communicate or report daily production output with production managers and manufacturing engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Track production data, including output, efficiency, downtime, and waste.
  • Responsible for cost and labor entry.
  • Prepare and submit shift reports to management.
  • Ensure all paperwork and production logs are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure that 5S activities are completed.
  • Participate in meetings to review production performance and discuss improvements.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing company safety policies and procedures by identifying safety hazards and take corrective actions.
  • Other duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • Good hand dexterity and hand/eye coordination
  • Positive attitude and willing to learn.
  • Reliable with solid attendance
  • Demonstrates the TT Way Behaviors
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to build a cohesive team.
  • Aids in the development of cross-training a multifunctional workforce.
  • Ability to list and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years manufacturing experience.
  • 100% proficiency of all Assembler 2 job duties and 80% or greater skills of level 3 Assembler
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00 depending on qualifications and offers a health plan, dental, life insurance, vision, ESSP, 401(k) and PTO.
