Introduction

The Production Technician is responsible for performing basic production and assembly tasks in accordance with established work instructions, safety requirements, and quality standards. This role focuses on learning processes, developing technical skills, and consistently meeting production expectations under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned production equipment and tools following standard work instructions.
• Perform repetitive assembly or processing tasks to meet daily production requirements.
• Conduct basic visual inspections and identify obvious defects.
• Follow all safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation (5s).
• Accurately complete required production documentation.
• Escalate issues, defects, or equipment concerns to the Production Lead.
• Support Lean Manufacturing principles as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Dependability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation (ADA).

Desireable Skills and Experience

• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, including overtime as needed.
