Role Overview and Responsibilities

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

 

Introduction

Engineering role focused on supporting manufacturing processes, resolving routine production issues, and contributing to basic improvements under guidance.  Manufacturing Engineering roles build technical capability while supporting day-to-day operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with implementing new processes and products under senior engineering direction.
  • Provide basic technical support to production; escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Prepare/update simple work instructions and standard documentation.
  • Support data collection, root-cause analysis, and corrective action activities.
  • Learn and apply Lean, TWI, and standard engineering methodologies.
  • Contribute to small-scale CI activities.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Core Requirements

  • Foundational CAD skills; working knowledge of manufacturing concepts.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings; willingness to develop GD&T fluency.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Learning mindset; openness to coaching.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation (ADA).

Desireable Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical).
  • Internship or up to 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
