Role Overview and Responsibilities


Introduction:
Responsible for the reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • pull parts from stockrooms and overflow locations based on pick list
  • put away parts received from inspection per procedures
  • demonstrates proficiency in completing shortage/overage system and dispositions NCM per QP6/4-01
  • short fills for production areas
  • find stock locations, part availability, “where used” and "can I build it" inquiries
  • complete the computer transactions required for moving kit from stockroom to production area
  • complete transactions for shortages per QP11/1-01 (includes MRB’s)
  • assign primary and non-primary stock locations
  • proficient in the understanding of all relevant material transactions within computer
  • purge parts from stockroom when needed
  • resolve routine inventory adjustments
  • sample counts with inventory auditors
  • perform cycle counts
  • determine the disposition of obsolete material
  • aid in the development and implementation of stockroom layout
  • understand inventory transactions and can follow audit trails
  • resolve computer inventory-to-actual problem solving
  • perform cycle counts in all stockrooms
  • train team members and recommend certification per QP10/1-01
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications: to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The Team Member must be able to maintain confidentiality and have good judgment. Training requirements: Team members will be required to attend various training classes to ensure adequate knowledge of company specific information, customer, regulatory, and other requirements as determined by job process, standard operating procedures or other elements as required.

 

Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by Team Member to successfully perform of the essential functions of this job.  

Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to objects.  Frequently walk, finger, talk and hear 60-90% of the time; Occasionally balance, lift, grasp, 30-60%; Rarely climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, feel, do repetitive motion 0-30% of the time.


Visual Acuity: The Team member is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations. Ability or increased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions.

 

Work Environment: The Team member is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not room temperature changes, there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to increase volume in order to be heard above ambient noise level. Team member is subject to fumes on a rare (0-30%) basis.

 

Safety is a core responsibility of this position. Team members are expected to perform all job duties in accordance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and established procedures. This includes wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), participating in safety training, immediately reporting unsafe conditions or incidents, and stopping work when unsafe conditions exist. All employees are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and for actively contributing to the prevention of workplace injuries and accidents.

 

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

 

The Team Member is required to work overtime as needed.

 

Location: 100 % onsite in Greater Cleveland, Ohio
