Role Overview and Responsibilities

Introduction

The Program Manager serves as TT Electronics’ primary point of contact and interface with the customer, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and coordination across all aspects of the customer relationship. The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the assigned customer accounts, including but not limited to, revenue performance, profitability, order excellence, and the overall customer experience . The Program Manager ensures cross-functional alignment across TT teams, drives effective program execution, and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

 

Serve as the primary customer focal point, providing comprehensive oversight of the Customer-TT Electronics relationship while supporting existing and new opportunities for business growth.

  • Direct and lead the Customer-Focused Team in day-to-day activities, driving timely and effective conflict resolution and proactively identifying and addressing opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the “Voice of the Customer” within TT Electronics by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of customer programs, requirements, priorities, and risks, while ensuring these are effectively communicated across the organization and cross-functional teams.
  • Accountability for the accuracy, timely maintenance, and effective communication of schedules, order books, forecasts, and contract requirements.
  • Understand, or possess the ability learn, finance acumen including but not limited to, gross margin, operating profit, and pricing cost structures.
  • Accountable and responsible for the financial performance of assigned products and customer accounts, including, but not limited to, pricing, profitability, PPV, gross margin, material liabilities, on-time delivery, quality, and cost-savings opportunities
  • Accountable and responsible in maintaining working knowledge of contract (Supply Agreement) requirements while proactively managing financial risk and liability to TT Electronics.
  • Prepare and present regular business updates for internal Account Reviews, customer Business Reviews, and other forums as required.
  • Leverage a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and requirements to support Senior Leadership in the development of annual sales plans, budgets, and related business planning activities.
  • Travel to customer sites, as well as lead internal visits, in support of business reviews, relationship management, and program requirements.
  • Demonstrate active involvement in and support of TT Electronics’ health and safety, compliance, and quality management systems.
  • Support Account Managers in the overall success and growth of assigned accounts.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Core Requirements

  • Education/Experience/Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree or two to four years’ combined experience and training/education. Experience managing highly regulated industries (Medical, Aerospace, Defense) and/or industry certifications is a plus.
  • Language Ability: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and analyze periodicals, business reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to write clear and professional reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, team members, and the public. The individual must demonstrate strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to collect and analyze data, solve practical problems, and work effectively with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must consistently maintain a professional and positive image in all situations while exercising sound judgment. 
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel & SharePoint. Familiar with ERP systems, Business Intelligence portals, etc. Basic Sales Force knowledge is a plus.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

  • Travel Requirements: Sufficient travel will be required to support job functions, 10% to 20% of your time is the expectancy to support our business.
  • Training requirements: Team members will be required to attend various training classes to ensure adequate knowledge of company specific information, customer, regulatory, and other requirements as determined by job process, standard operating procedures or other elements as required.
