IntroductionWe are currently recruiting for an NPI Lead Engineer to join the Power Electronics division at TT Electronics Bedlington. This role is to work within a team who are responsible for the design & development of new products and sustaining products throughout their life cycle. IntroductionThe Production Engineer defines and works out how the product will be manufactured and/or assembled on the production line including decision of packaging used.They ensure the right quantity of components/products are delivered and aligned to support the speed of the production line. Key Responsibilities- To act as the principal in-house advisor to TT Electronics’ operations in the U.S. and Mexico, with scope to shape the direction of the organisation’s legal operations in the region. Summary:   Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. - Operate lift and tow motor equipment- Conduct light maintenance (lights, minor repairs, etc.)- Pickup and delivery of material for projects- Complete building maintenance (painting, equipment moving, assist in wiring, etc.)- Opening and closing (locking up) the building- Maintain air compressor, vacuum, nitrogen daily operation of whole systems and maintenance- Complete requirements for setting up workstations- Complete equipment maintenance and assist in troubleshooting and repair of facilities and production equipment- Monitor maintenance schedules and make entries in the maintenance database- Assist in any production requirements when necessary (coating, painting, reworking of parts not meeting prints, assembly, etc.)- Assist and monitor contractors for building repairs (heating and air, overhead doors, etc.)- Assist in creation of jigs and fixtures for production - Equipment grounding, testing, certifying for production equipment, workstation and flooring using resistance meters per the ESD TR53-01-06- Ordering and maintaining spare parts for equipment (production equipment, tools, compressors, etc.)- Assist in set up and maintenance of emergency equipment, spill kits, etc.- Use basic computer programs and Microsoft office as needed for job responsibilities
