IntroductionWe are looking to recruit Quality Inspectors to join our busy Interconnect Harnessing team, based in Abercynon South Wales.  About the Role- The Harness Build Inspectors primary function is to ensure that all products in build within the harness manufacturing area meet all specifications and all relevant documentation is completed. - Ensuring that the products meet customer requirements at each stage of its manufacturing process and where necessary report all non - conformities.Key Responsibilities- Ability to learn and identify non - conforming product against current manufacturing standard and customer requirements. - Inspecting all components and assemblies at all stages of the manufacturing process.- Responsible for checking, progressing and collating accurate build and inspection records with supervision of current inspectors.- Ensuring all associated documentation is completed correctly and accurately (Batch follower/ works order cards), with supervision of current inspectors. - Alerting the Quality team/ Inspector/ Team Leader/ Production Engineer of ongoing and potential problems (Process and workmanship).

IntroductionWe require a Production Manager to join our busy Manufacturing team, based at our site in Abercynon, South Wales. The role of the Production Manager will be to manage and maintain the safe, effective and efficient operation of the Assembly area in terms of employees, machinery and resources to achieve budget requirements and operational KPI's. Requirements of the Role- Manage the safe and effective use of people and equipment to achieve the daily, weekly and monthly production plan.- Work in conjunction with planning to produce capacity plans.- Ensure that the manufacturing processes are operated by appropriately trained people in line with the manufacturing work instructions. This is delgated through the supervisory structure.- As part of the operational team, participate in the setting of operational KPI's and cascade to the manufacturing team.- Lead the manufacturing team in the acheievement of the operational KPI's and budgeted requirements. - Lead and champion continuous improvement/ lean activities in line with the BE LEAN principles.- Participate in the project management process for NPI and provide resources as required. - Ensure all HR policies and procedures are adhered to by the team.- Manager holds responsibility for ensuring product quality, and shall have the authority to stop production to correct quality problems. - Interact with customers at all levels as required. Health, Safety and Environment - Ensure all processes have been risk assessed and the appropriate work instructions for the safe operation are specified. - Ensure that operators are trained to the specified work instruction.- Ensure that the H&S reporting system is being followed. - Ensure that all near misses and accidents are recorded and analysed for root cause and corrective actions are implemented to prevent reoccurance. - Ensure manufacturing operation is compliant with the relevant legislation and TT roadmaps. - Participate in the HS&E committee meetings and departmental inspections.
